Chris Hambridge started cutting grass at 16. Not as a summer job — as the start of something bigger. That lawn care business grew into hardscaping, then full outdoor construction, then fiberglass pools.
Based in Ilderton, Ontario, Living Design & Build was founded on a simple idea: homeowners shouldn't need to hire five different contractors to build one backyard. Pools, patios, retaining walls, lighting, fire features, cabanas — we handle it all under one roof.
The company may be newer, but the team is not. With 35+ years of combined experience in outdoor construction, we bring the skills of seasoned pros with the hunger of a company that's still building its reputation one backyard at a time.
Most pool companies just install pools. Most hardscape companies just lay pavers. We do both — and everything that connects them. As an authorized Azoria dealer (Canada's largest fiberglass pool manufacturer) and Techo-Pro certified installer (Techo-Bloc), we bring premium products together in a single, turnkey build.
